&lt;p&gt;why i hate yoga: OH MY GOD MY QUADS. THEY BURN SO GOOD. L had us do lots of intense crescent moons and warrior IIs and horse poses. LIKE A LOT OF THEM. and now i think i may die.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;why i love yoga: i&amp;#8217;m 98% sure that my heels are now millimeters from touching the ground in down dog. which is surprising seeing how i haven&amp;#8217;t actually &lt;em&gt;been &lt;/em&gt;in down dog in at least a week. ALSO. I DID A FREAKING TRIPOD HEADSTAND. WITHOUT THE WALL. IT WAS AWESOME. THE AWESOME-EST. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so i&amp;#8217;m pretty much super stoked to be alive right now. minus the spontaneous awkward meeting of the new neighbor boy right after yoga when i was super sweaty and too mentally unprepared to deal with him in a logical fashion. yoga highs kill, people. &amp;#8230;well, no one died, but still&amp;#8230;.&lt;/p&gt;

(class 46)</title><description>&lt;p&gt;so, i&amp;#8217;m usually pretty good at this. some fairly attractive boy-man plops down in front of me or behind me while i&amp;#8217;m soaking up my mat pre-class and i&amp;#8217;m like &amp;#8220;hey, he&amp;#8217;s kinda cute,&amp;#8221; and then i move on and don&amp;#8217;t think about him ever again unless i happen to see him in the lobby after class, in which case, i tend to duck my head and bolt.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;but today was different. today, my friends, was very un-yogic. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;let me just say, first off, that it wasn&amp;#8217;t my fault. this kid had to set up not in front of me, not behind me, not five feet away where i wouldn&amp;#8217;t see him ever again, but RIGHT NEXT TO ME. i was like &amp;#8220;this is okay, i&amp;#8217;ll just&amp;#8230; pretend&amp;#8230; he&amp;#8217;s not&amp;#8230;. here&amp;#8230;&amp;#8221; false. because, you know first time we do right knee to right elbow look right, i can;t help but notice how smokin&amp;#8217; his back muscles are. and then, when we&amp;#8217;re doing wide-legged forward fold, you know, his adorable bum is right in my face, AND THEN, to top it all off, when we&amp;#8217;re in revolved lunge, he show-boats into this kind-of-crow-kind-of-not arm balance which i couldn&amp;#8217;t not see because i was looking right at him, and how can talent and slight show-offishness not be a deal sealer, right?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i won&amp;#8217;t even go into how i&amp;#8217;m pretty sure our whole practice turned into a yoga-off.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i am ashamed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so ashamed, i wont even admit that when i saw him in the lobby i bolted. typical.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;BUT I WAS SUPER FLEXI TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN SEATED FORWARD FOLD, SO THAT CANCELS OUT EVERYTHING.&lt;/p&gt;
